Packaging: The Body Shop Satsuma Shower gel comes in a huge, see-through plastic bottle, with a translucent-white flip-top cap. the flip-top is sturdy, and the product does not spill out of the bottle while travelling, though it would be better to transfer some product to a smaller bottle for travel purpose, since 250mL is a lot of product to be carried in the bag, or buy the travel-sized bottles for travel.

Consistency/ fragrance: The Body Shop Satsuma Shower gel is an orange colored gel, has a light runny consistency, and it has a very sweet citrus fragrance. The fragrance envelops the whole bathroom in a jiffy, and lingers on even afterwards. Though it stays on the body only for 10-15 minutes.

My experience with The Body Shop Satsuma Shower gel: Umm.. I love citrus fragrances, but this one is sweet-citrusy, and though I don’t dislike it, I’m not a huge fan either. The fragrance is a bit too sweet and heavy for my liking. It does its job well in cleansing the skin, and leaves the skin squeaky clean, without drying out the skin. My body skin is normal, unlike the very oily facial skin, and I do not feel any sort of itching or dryness after a shower with this gel. All in all, it does its job well.

·        Does not dry out the skin (it is soap free, and contains soya oil)

·        Gets washed off without leaving the skin slippery to touch

Cons of The Body Shop Satsuma Shower gel:

·        The fragrance may be a bit heavy for those with a sensitive nose.
