Fiama Di Wills Couture Spa gel bar- Brazilian Orange and Ginseng: Review

Today I’m reviewing the Brazilian Orange and Ginseng gel bathing bar from the Fiama Di Wills Couture Spa range, designed by Wendell Rodricks. Find out more about this range in my posts here and here.

Price: Rs. 75 for 125g

Packaging: The soap comes packed in a cardboard box type of packaging. Inside, the soap is sealed in a thick foil pack, which gives the product a ‘premium’ feel.

Ingredients: Soap of fatty acids, aqua, sodium laureth sulphate, propylene glycol, glycerine, sucrose, PEG-400, fragrance with Brazilian orange oil, natural extract of ginseng, gold, mica, sodium chloride, disodium etidronate, BHT, Cl. 11680, Cl. 73900

My take on Fiama Di Wills Couture Spa gel bar- Brazilian Orange and Ginseng: The Brazilian Orange and ginseng gel bathing bar from Fiama Di Wills is a pale golden-yellow coloured bar of an tapered/ oval shape. The shape of the bar makes it easy to grip. If you pick up the bar against a source of light, as in the below pic, you can see glitter/ golden particles in the soap. The soap has a delicious fruity fragrance, which engulfs the whole bathroom. I have never used such a delicious smelling soap, ever. Others in my family love it too! The fragrance, however, doesn’t stay for long on the skin. The soap lathers well, gets washed off easily, and does not leave a dry, stretchy feeling on the skin, though I always apply a moisturiser on the skin after the bath.

This is the first time I’m using a gel bathing bar, and to my surprise, the bar does not melt off while lying in the soap dish (something I was expecting from a ‘gel’ bar :P )

Verdict: An amazing fragrance for a soap, and a very good quality soap. Do check this one out, especially for the fragrance.
