My take on Nyassa Belgian Chocolate sugar scrub: The Nyassa Belgian Chocolate sugar scrub is a muddy brown coloured product, with apparent sugar granules in it. The product in the pack bears a waxy layer on the sides, when you first open up the tub. But the one thing that literally sweeps your feet off the floor is the decadent Belgian Chocolate fragrance. Oh My God, it just smells heavenly. For a chocolate lover like me, the fragrance is just... Uh, well, leave it!

Now the exfoliation bit. This is where this scrub sorely disappoints. You scoop out some product, and you can actually see that the sugar granules and the rest of the ‘waxy’ product are not integrated into each other properly. Not like a scrub should be. The sugar granules, or chunks, are too big a size for a skin-care product. For an exfoliating product, they seem too abrasive. And the moment you try rubbing the product between the palms, or applying to the body, the sugar granules literally fall off to the floor, and what remains on the skin is some waxy brown goo! I do not even know how this scrub exfoliates! Imagine!
I didn’t want this review to sound so bad, but I’m sorry, Nyassa! This is the worst product that I’ve ever used, in terms of what it’s supposed to do.
So instead of exfoliating the skin (even one bit), this body scrub leaves the skin smooth because of the emollient-rich nature (so many oils and butters in there!) and no exfoliation. I am never using it again! We have so many better body scrubs out there at much less the price!

Pros of Nyassa Belgian Chocolate sugar scrub:
·         Heavenly fragrance. A chocolate-lover’s delight!
·         Nice packaging
·         Has a lot of moisturising/ buttery ingredients

Cons of Nyassa Belgian Chocolate sugar scrub:
·         Does not exfoliate AT ALL!
·         Leaves the skin feeling waxy!
·         Availability
·         Price

Verdict: Please, please please do not buy this, until and unless you just want to smell the Belgian Chocolate. In that case too, go have an ice-cream!

Rating: 2/10 (only for the fragrance!)
