My take on Shiseido Perfect Rouge lipstick- RD514 Dragon: Dragon is an out and out red lipcolor, with a feeble blue undertone, but one which will suit those with a yellow skin undertone like mine. (The blue undertone in the lipstick is not prominent). The lipstick is highly pigmented, and one swipe is enough to pack the lips with color and to cover lip pigmentation. The texture is smooth and creamy (not buttery, thank God!), and the lipstick glides on the lips easily. It has a creamy finish on application, which settles on the lips as a creamy-matte after some time, and I love this fact! The best part is the fact that, being a red lipstick, this one does not bleed from the lips. Also, the staying power (full intensity) is roughly 3 hours, after which the intensity comes down and you get a creamy red tint on the lips (not like the regular tints which may look unflattering).
The lipstick has no fragrance, and does not settle into fine lines (I do not have dry lips).
Being the classic red lip color, this shade is best worn with a neutral eye make-up and a light blush in an earthen shade. The shade is a classic one, and will suit all complexions alike!
This is how it looks on me (I am NC42/45 in MAC for reference)
