About Chambor Sheer Delight Ultra Matte Foundation: Chambor says that this is an ultra long wear natural matte finish foundation which is suitable for normal to oily and combination skin. It is oil free and non-comedogenic.

Price: Rs. 745 for 30 ml

Packaging:The product comes in a small dark blue tube which is quite travel friendly. The only problem with this type of packaging is that you can really not get to know how much product is left inside the tube. Otherwise, the packaging is quite sturdy.

Ingredients: Mentioned below :)

My take: The consistency of the product is somewhat like whipped cream. It is not too creamy nor too liquidy, almost like a mousse, and you can easily blend it with the help of your fingers. You would need to moisturize your face properly before its application otherwise, it won’t blend as smoothly. These foundations would give you sheer to medium coverage. For dark spots and dark circles, you would definitely need a concealer. The reason I got this foundation is that I have very oily skin and therefore, I cannot wear anything on my face that feels heavy or which may run the imposing risk of making my face looking like a wok of oil..!! In this respect, this does all that it claims of doing..! My skin did not feel oily at all for atleast the first 2-3 hours after which some powder and blotting paper helped. My face did not feel cakey at all and I felt absolutely comfortable wearing it as a daily ritual. I think this has appropriate yellow undertones and are perfect for Indian skin tones.

The only problem that I feel is that this shade is a tad bit darker for my skin tone.. so I had to use it with a lighter shade of compact to make it work for me.

There are only 3 shades available and the one that I got is ’02 OCHRE’ which is a tad darker for my MAC NC-37 complexion..

Pros of Chambor Sheer Delight Ultra Matte Foundation:

  • Gives an amazing matte finish
  • Light in texture, does not make the skin look cakey
  • Decently priced
  • Blends easily
  • Appropriate for everyday use
  • Did not break me out – just like it claimed..!!
  • Stays put for a good 5-6 hours with blotting and powdering
  • Travel friendly packaging

Cons of Chambor Sheer Delight Ultra Matte Foundation:

  • Gives sheer coverage
  • Only 3 shades available
  • Opaque packaging won’t help in knowing the amount of product left with you..!

Verdict: I think this is a great option for oily skinned girls like me..! It is light on the pocket and does right what it claims—oil free, non-comedogenic and matte..!!
