Initial thoughts on the products

Both the sunscreens are white in color, and have a smooth texture. The ‘hydrating’ variant has a lotiony consistency, and the ‘mattifying’ variant has a thicker, creamy consistency. These are both easy to spread. Both have that typical-Lakme, light floral (?) fragrance.

Since I have oily skin, I tried the ‘Mattifying’ variant and it seems to work decently on me till now. It does cast a whitish cast on the skin initially, but it gets light within a few minutes. I’m still testing it for efficacy ‘under makeup’, since that is where the product claims work- under your makeup. Will get back to you guys with the detailed review in a few more days 🙂

Also, at a price point of Rs. 500 for ’30mL’, I think these are a tad expensive 🙁
