My take on The Body Shop Vitamin-E Aqua Boost Sorbet: The sorbet has a fluffy gel-like consistency, and reminds me of the ‘ice slushes’ we get in the markets in the peak of summers 😛 The light pinkish sorbet gets absorbed into the skin completely, leaving the skin feeling hydrated and fresh. There is a nice cooling sensation on the skin for a few minutes, which is a great respite in these scorching hot summers. The moisturisation part is just right for those with oily/ combination skin, and I have been loving using this product for almost two months now. It keeps my skin matte for a couple of hours, and when used overnight, I do not see my face becoming an oil-mine the next morning, so for my oily skin, this is a God-sent! No breakouts too!

However, those with very dry skin may not like this much, since you’s need something heavier/ creamier for your skin. Also, the lack of sun-screening factors may be a downside, so I make sure I use a foundation with SPF on top when going out.

But since there is no SPF, just one product will suffice your day and night moisturisation needs (night creams shouldn’t have SPF), and hence the price is good!

Verdict: If you have combination/ oily skin like mine, do give this a try this summers! This is as perfect as a moisturiser can get for us!
