The first wedding season of the year is officially here, and will continue till sometime in March.. And what better time to play dress up than the wedding season itself!
With a few weddings of distant relatives to attend this season, I’ve decided to keep my outfits fun and flirty this time, taking a break from heavy sarees and lehengas for now. I’ve pickup up this stunning, versatile and super stylish outfit from designer Naisha Nagpal’s collection. Her collection has a very classic- vintage feel to it, and is something I’d love to wear again and again. Her store in Shahpur Jat, Delhi is a delight in itself.
This outfit that I picked up is the perfect outfit for bridesmaids too. The heavy, embellished jacket with floral patterns makes for a stunning blouse over a lot of lowers such as with a voluminous skirt, like I have worn it here. You could also wear it over dhoti pants, or with a contrasting plain maxi dress.
The makeup is also relatively easy to do- winged eyeliner and red lips (I’m wearing NARS- Shanghai Express). A very classic combination, and a look that works for all occassions. For jewelry, I picked up these stunning earrings with blue beads matching my outfit. A pair of cutwork kadas completed the look!
Hope you enjoyed the look! Do drop your comments below.
