Give a girl the right shoes and she can conquer the world! ~Marilyn Monroe
I recently visited the WIP arena in Delhi (read all about it here), and in case you haven’t seen that post yet, the place was full of all sorts of colorful backgrounds and artists painting old shipping cargos and giving them a new life! It is an exclusive opportunity for Delhiites to indulge in art, music and beautification of the city, all at the same time.
Anyhoo, so while I was at the event, I couldn’t help but get myself clicked, given that each frame could be captured in a different yet colorful background. Since I was expecting a lot of color around anyway, I decided to keep my outfit black-and-white. I know, this is the second black-and-white outfit in the recent times on the blog, but there’s something very graceful and timeless about this classic combination which draws me towards it very frequently.
This time, I decided to go bold with the black and white colors, and threw an aztec poncho over what was an otherwise all black ensemble- black pullover, trousers and black pumps.
Oh and talking of the pumps, this one from Charles and Keith happens to be my first pair of pointy pumps. I have slightly broad feet around the toes and long fingers, and it is anatomically impossible for me to wear any form of pointed shoes, more so pumps. I was quite surprised when this pair fit me very comfortably when I tried it at the CharlesKeithXCosmo event some time back, and I’m glad I picked this pair up. Finally, something that makes my feet happy! Do give them a try!
I’m wearing almost no makeup here, except for the lipstick. And my hair is totally unkempt too. Lazy day dressing at it’s best!
Do let me know how you liked the outfit in the comments below 🙂
