All Good Scents ‘Jasmine’ EDP
All Good Scents recently launched a few new fragrances as part of the Eternal Garden collection and I have one of the women’s fragrances with me for review. Generally the one to stay away from ‘floral’ fragrances, I was taken by surprise by this one. Read on to know the deets!
- Top Notes : Mandarin, Peach, Cloves, Cinnamon
- Heart Notes : Jasmine, Tuberose, Orange Blossoms
- Base Notes : Balsam, Amber, Vanilla, Sweet Accord
My take on All Good Scents ‘Jasmine’ EDP: This is the kinda perfume that grows on you. From the very first spray, you notice the spicy hints of cinnamon and cloves wrapping the floral jasmine beautifully in them. The orange blossom (flower of the orange tree) lends a hint of fruity-floral freshness to the fragrance. The amber and vanilla at the base create a beautiful dry down on my skin. I love how this fragrance is essentially very ‘Indian’. Also, even though the name says ‘Jasmine’, it is not a very-typically-jasmine fragrance. The jasmine here has been balanced beautifully with the other notes, making it a very classic and feminine fragrance. Typically I would assume a jasmine fragrance to be too loud, but this one is not. It stays put on my skin for about 6+ hours beautifully, though I have noticed the dry down on my skin the next morning too. This I’d say is more of an evening wear perfume, something I’d wear to a special occasion.
The sleek glass bottle with a golden cap makes for a beautiful packaging too.
Overall, a beautiful fragrance!
