Bobbi Brown Art Sticks are quite good at multi-tasking, if you ask me! You can use these to line your lips, fill them in, and even to add color to your cheeks. I’ve used the shade Bright Raspberry from this range, and the latest one in my kitty is Hot Pink, which happens to be a favorite too! Read on for the deets!
The struggle is real. The struggle to find a foundation that does not slip and slide on the oil-mine that your face is! Top it off with the kinda tropical weather we have in India (most regions), and you… CANT… EVEN…
Oily skin girls, raise your hands! I got your back. I probably have the most oily skin amongst all the ladies that I personally know. And I am always on a quest to find a foundation that stays put on my skin for the duration of a party. Something which won’t make my nose overtly shiny, and not make the skin feel heavy! Today I’m sharing my top 5 favorite foundations that I have discovered and loved over the years. Let’s begin!
My bag is an all season pandora’s box. You’ll find the most bizarre things and the most irrelevant things filling it to the brim.
Random bills of pizza that I ate 2 weeks ago or the parking tickets from last month or the post-its on which there’s a number but no name(a number has no name..it’s Arya Stark’s number #GoT :D) …you get it.
Thankfully my family observes a seasonal cleaning day wherein we are forced to clean our belongings and chuck out things we don’t need. And this is when my bag takes a sigh of relief.
Before all this random stuff again makes a home in my bag, I make sure to insert my top 5 summer essentials.
L’oreal Paris UV Perfect Aqua Essence City Face Mist – I cannot emphasis how much this products helps in the scorching heat. When the skin feels parched I quickly spray this for an instant pick me up. And guess what it doesn’t just moisturizes the skin but also protects because its got SPF 50++. L’oreal Paris UV Perfect Aqua Essence City Face Mist has earned a space in my heart and bag both!
MAC Studio Fix compact – This is my Knight in Matte Armour. For girls with oily skin this product is a boon. Dab, dab, dab – and problem solved! MAC Studio Fix compact is my pick however, there are many options to choose from.
Lips – If you apply lip balm only when the lips are chapped, then you should know that the skin on our lips is so much thinner than the skin on the face. It is very important to apply lip balm which contains SPF. For a quick makeover I keep the Bobbi Brown art stick in my bag as it is a creamy lip color and also doubles up as a blush. And Avene High Protection SPF 30 Lip Balm is the best bet when it comes to hydration and protection from the sun.
In Extreme Dimension 3D Black Lash Mascara – Kajal melts and makes its way to the corner of the eye (for some secret conference, I believe) and the eyeliner gets transferred onto the brow bone. Mascara is my best bet as it stays put for really long. No melting, no transferring, just awake eyes and pretty lashes.
I recently splurged on a new lippie from Bobbi Brown after a long time. This time I went ahead with a Bobbi Brown creamy matte lip color in the shade Crushed Plum, being totally into plums and mauves at the moment. Read on to know my take on this stunner.
Price: Rs. 2100 for 3.6g. Available at Bobbi Brown retail stores across Delhi, Gurgaon and Mumbai
As committed last week, I’ll be doing new videos every Wednesday from now on. So the latest video went up on my channel yesterday (and looks like the blog posts get done only by Thursday 😛 ). One of my closest friends got engaged a few weeks back, and this is the makeup look I wore for the event. A lot of you guys requested for this, and your wish is my command!
February 2015 has also wrapped up now, and this year is really REALLY flying by! I know I say this very often… But the year really is flying by! Happening with any of you too!? Below are some of my February 2015 favorites, and mini reviews of products that haven’t been reviewed yet 😐 I’m also turning into a lazy bum.. I know!
Today I am going to share my current go-to makeup products, with the weather changing rapidly here in Delhi… It’s getting cold here, and I’ve moved on from matte skin-matte lips to glowing skin and slightly glossy lips these days.
So here are my winter makeup essentials, or my current go-to makeup routine:
I have very oily skin, and in winters too, it doesn’t tend to get dry.. So the main concerns are to achieve glowing skin, without getting oily. My T-zone tends to get oily before I even think about it, and I’ve been developing some pores around the nose of late…
I’m back with my monthly favorites ‘Beauty Rewind’ post today after a gap of about 2 months 😛 You see, I’m bad at commiting to schedules and routines, and however much I try, I just can’t stick to them. LOL!
Anyhoo, moving on to July 2014 beauty favorites now 🙂
