What we wear reflects our personality, mood, style, and sometimes, even our character and beliefs. Ensemble empowerment is all about feeling right and comfortable in every piece of clothing you put on. Let your clothes project a healthy self-image that is powerful, confident and creative. We intuitively pick out clothes from our wardrobes that are mood-boosters and personal favourites. They match our daily routines and feels – how we’re feeling on that day, where we’re going, what we’re doing, who we’re meeting. Our style changes as we change. Rummage through your wardrobe and figure out if your current style reflects in your clothes. Do they enhance your best features? Are they confidence-boosting or subdued by unease? What drives your selection? Is it social pressure, conformity, unrealistic trends, or a need to emulate others? Think about what you can express through your clothes – something that represents your true self – and do a little purging and shopping to make your clothes speak for you.
Here are 10 stylish pieces that are instant confidence-boosters to add to your ensemble!

If you’re a fan of shirts and rolled up sleeves, you will love shirt dresses! They’re basically an extension of shirts, meant to be worn without pants. Their fit, unique look and comfortable style is certainly a mood-enhancer. You can dress them up with accessories like belts, bangles or scarves or pull off a casual look with a watch and sneakers.

A quick life update- I got married recently (more on that later), and now getting back to work slowly but steadily, now that we’re back from the honeymoon too! It’s been a fabulous one month of celebrations & travel and I cannot wait to roll out more stuff here on the blog, but amidst everything else, I just quickly wanted to share a day in my *new life* with you guys.
Oh, that time of the year again! That faint chill in the air and the excitement building around the festive and upcoming wedding season! I bring to you my latest lookbook for this Diwali with two indigenous brands that I recently discovered and love so much! Read on for more.
It is very rare for me to fall totally in love with a brand, at least in terms of being a repeat customer. I like trying new brands every time I shop, and not very often will you see me carrying two products from the same brand in my ‘look’. Well, Hidesign is one big exception here, and it has maintained this spot for a lot of years now.
I discovered Hidesign when I was still studying, when Dad got himself a Hidesign wallet and belt. This was long back. That must have been almost 15 years back. And the moment I held that men’s wallet in my hand, I knew I wanted to own some products from this brand too. And soon.
Hope you have gone through all the posts from Paris/ France till now. Today’s post is from our last day in France, and also the most beautiful one! The Lux Fragrance Experience was amazing through and through, and I am so grateful to the teams behind Lux for curating for us the most special experiences in France. I managed to do things and visit places that I wouldn’t have done/ visited had I been travelling on my own. I mean, not everyday do you visit a perfume museum or dine at a Michelin Star restaurant, do you?
Continuing the series of posts from my Paris visit as a Lux Ambasador, I’d like to share details from the visit to Givaudan perfume school in Givaudan, about a 45 minute drive away from Paris. Keep reading for the fragrance experience!
