Today I’m sharing another favorite look of mine for the 30 days makeup challenge. One of my most favorite looks is a winged eyeliner + red lips coz it is such a classic. The look definitely needs some patience coz you need a very clean base, a smooth winged eyeliner and red lips, but once perfected, it looks stunning!
Continuing the #30DaysMakeupChallenge, today’s look is just an extension of yesterday’s look, albiet with the hottest makeup trend at the moment- glitter lips!
#30DaysMakeupChallenge Look-2: Glitter Lips
Glitter lips are the hottest makeup trend for this season. A few days back, British MUA Pat McGrath launched her range of glitter lip kits *drool* and the beauty world went crazy! Then I saw my favorite YouTuber Tati from GlamLifeGuru do a video with these products, and I officially lost it! Just had to give this trend a try!
With the festive season also coming up, if you want to up your glam quotient without much of an effort (hello, no blending!), you should totally give this trend a try. Most of us makeup crazies have some pigment or glitter lying around in our stash anyway. Go ahead, pick them up and create a DIY glitter lip look in an instant.

L’Oreal Paris has launched a whole new range of ‘mattifying compact powders’ in India, the new L’Oreal Paris ‘Mat Magique’ matte transforming powders, and I couldn’t wait to review these for you guys, since I have really oily skin, and I’m sure a lot of you do too! Scroll down for a ‘first impressions’ video where I’ve shown you how effective this product is by using this on just half my face for a few hours (vs. non-powdered side) and more…
I recently created an Instaglam video tutorial with Maybelline, and the video also had a giveaway for my YouTube subscribers… You may check it out below:

Being oily skinned is one thing. Having super oily eyelids is another. With age/ time, I have noticed that my skin generally does get a little less oily or lean towards combination skin type during extreme winters, but the eyelids still remain super duper oily. Like, really oily. They are the next oiliest part on my face after my nose, followed by the rest of the T-zone. So all I can manage to wear is a good, heavy duty gel or liquid eyeliner on an everyday basis. Everything else looks cray cray in no time. Add to it the fact that I have hooded eyelids, so my crease is, well, very low, almost next to upper lash line…
Bottomline- an eye primer is my best friend and a necessity. Recently I bought the Coastal Scents Step-one eye primer during my Coastal Scents Black Friday haul and have been using this primer ever since. Read on to know my thoughts on this one!
The CS website has good deals and discounts from time to time. I bought mine during the black friday 50% off sale. I’d suggest you buy during sale too. This way, you can save some money on the products, since shipping charges are ‘quite good’ on their website.
Recently, I attended the launch event of Livon Moroccan Silk serum. The event was held at The Grand Hotel, Delhi, and along with the launch itself, the PR team had organised a fun-filled evening for us, with a whole set-up for the experiential with the serum. Read on for more 🙂
Yesterday, I picked up The Body Shop Lip & Cheek Doll from their store, and I couldn’t wait to share the pics with you guys. This is no way a review. I’m using this product for the first time as I am drafting this post, so I will not say anything in terms of the review yet. But just take a look at this cutie!
Price: Rs. 1495 for 28mL. Available at their stores.
