Winter makeup look for Christmas/ New Year parties
Christmas festivities are in the air, and even though Delhi is hardly cold this year (I’m majorly missing the chilly Delhi winters that used to be a norm at this time of the year), I do have a winter makeup routine in place right now and I’m totally loving it! Read on to know the deets!
Hey guys! Finding new products is my fancy, and I love sharing the latest ones with you guys. It is, though, rare for me to experiment too much with my hair, but when I do, I make sure you guys know about it too! Let’s take a look at my latest discovery in haircare- the Pantene Oil Replacement!
One of the best parts about my life right now, I’d say, is my association with Lux as a Lux Ambassador. Being associated with a brand like Lux which is so widely used in India and which invokes nostalgia every time we think of it is a huge pleasure, and something I take pride in.
This year too, I was lucky enough to visit France with Lux (check out last year’s trip here), and today I shall share all the deets on what all we did in south of France to understand fragrances better. Keep reading. And be prepared to be bombarded with pics, especially those of the lavender fields! I had a tough time selecting just a few!
In the era of today’s pollution and dirt, hair care takes a toll on us. That is the reason most of the times you will see that our hair is tied in a bun. That long swept open hair is a dream. And that is the reason why expensive hair creams and hair care products are in demand in the market these days. But do you know that all of them are loaded with chemicals and preservatives???
Summers for me mean occassional eruptions here and there on my skin, thanks to the heat and humidity around us. The worst of all are the tiny whiteheads which crop up around my nose and need regular exfoliation. I recently came across the Vichy Double Glow Peel Masque. Let’s see how it worked for me.
If there’s one skincare step I enjoy the most, it has to be the weekly facial scrub and masque routine. Every weekend, I look forward to pampering my skin some more than usual, and I am a hoarder of all sorts of masques for the great deal of benefits they bring with them.
The Body Shop recently launched 5 vegan nature-inspired masques as part of the ‘Recipe of Nature’ range, and I picked up 3 of them for review. I ended up using one of these on my wedding day too, right before the bridal makeup, and totally loved the results. Take a look at my video below for the demo, my routine and my thoughts on the range.
All Good Scents recently launched a few new fragrances as part of the Eternal Garden collection and I have one of the women’s fragrances with me for review. Generally the one to stay away from ‘floral’ fragrances, I was taken by surprise by this one. Read on to know the deets!
Keeping your selfie game strong is almost a necessity these days. Everywhere you go- events, parties, family gatherings and dates, a selfie has become mandatory. And taking group selfies is also big these days but the average phones kinda don’t help too much in the department. Well, Oppo has launched a new #SelfieExpert in the Indian market which has dual front lenses- one for selfie, one for group selfie. How cool is that! Read on for more deets!
Probably the toughest time in a girl’s life, which, sadly, appears in her life every month! Even though I am blessed to have not so painful periods, the other factors associated with periods themselves can generally make you uncomfortable some times. Especially pads. This thing can make or break your life (during periods).
I remember when I hit puberty, there were a limited number of sanitary pad options in the Indian market, and some of them were really uncomfortable. And then I discovered ‘Whisper’ one day which changed my life forever. Having been a Whisper fan for all these years, I was happy to come across the NEW Whisper Ultra Soft, a fresh entrant in the market. Read on for the deets.
Washing your makeup brushes regularly is important- something we all know. But do we like doing this chore? Absolutely not! At least I don’t enjoy the drill, but I still try to wash my makeup brushes every week just to keep them clean and my skin free of any infections from dirty brushes. I recently came across the new Sigma Beauty- Sigmagic Brushampoo (brush shampoo). After having used the MAC brush cleanser for a lot of years, I finally stumbled upon something new and interesting, and here’s what I think of it:
