Remember my teenie-tiny haul from Sleek some time back? If not, check this post. In today’s post, I’m reviewing a reddish powder blush (single) in the shade ‘Flushed’. Read on!
About Sleek MakeUp Blushes: Highly pigmented blushers to brighten and define cheekbones, available in 10 shades. These silky-fine and long lasting blushers create a subtle and radiant glow and suit all skin tones.
Price: $5.99 + Shipping (comes down to Rs. 350-400) for 8g
Packaging: The Sleek blushes come packed in a black cardboard cover with the brand name et. al. written on it. The Blush case is a sleek black case, rectangular in shape complete with a huge mirror inside. The pack has no applicator (thankfully, since the applicators that usually come with products are useless). The case is a bit of a toughie to open up. The first time I opened it, suddenly one nail hit upon the blush and some product came off (see pics for reference), so one has to be very careful while opening the case. But this also means the case is travel friendly.
Ingredients: Kindly refer to the below image.
Shelf life: 24 months after opening
My take on Sleek MakeUp Blush- Flushed:Flushed is a gorgeous burnt red powder blush with a feeble hint of mauve. The powder is very finely milled, smooth to touch, and has some very fine silver shimmerin it, which is not OTT and gives an impression of glowing skin. The shade, I believe, would do justice to a wide range of complexions. On my dusky, NC-45 skin tone, it looks fab! It adds a little warmth to my complexion, and the face looks naturally blushing and flushed!
The powder is highly pigmented. In fact, Sleek blushes are the most pigmented powder blushes I have used till date. You need to be very careful with how much product you pick up on the blush brush, since you can easily go over-board with these pigmented products. It is advised that you start with a very little amount of product, and build the shade as desired. The blush powder goes on smooth onto the skin, and is very easy to blend. It stays for almost the whole day on my skin, though it does fade with time. I wear this shade to work quite often these days, and it lasts on me through the day. No irritation or rashes either. So this one is a clear winner for me!
The pack has a lot of product, and I doubt if I will ever be able to finish it up!
