While everyone around us is busy traveling to a hill station right now, thanks to the super hot weather in Delhi currently with no respite in the form of rains, me and hubby are running a little too busy to step out of the town right now. Hotels in and around Delhi are such a savior for us currently for a quick weekend getaway. We spent the last weekend at Radisson Noida Sector 55. Read on for the deets!
A quick life update- I got married recently (more on that later), and now getting back to work slowly but steadily, now that we’re back from the honeymoon too! It’s been a fabulous one month of celebrations & travel and I cannot wait to roll out more stuff here on the blog, but amidst everything else, I just quickly wanted to share a day in my *new life* with you guys.
How about a new posh address in your favorite city but within a budget!?
Historically speaking, Indian cities with ‘South’ as a prefix in their name are known to be the choice of the best of crowds in that city! Take the example of South Delhi, South Mumbai and South Kolkata, and you’ll know what we are talking about!
I’m sure you have all heard of this quote right from your childhood. But what about places and things that are getting ignored with the passage of time? Isn’t the responsibility of beautifying and reviving them upon us?
Well, over the last weekend, we witnessed a very unique event here in Delhi- WIP (Work in Progress), a street art festival wherein artists from around the globe were painting shipping cargos, and turning them into masterpieces. And while all of that was going on, there was music, good food and generally a very happy vibe all around. Top it with the sunny Delhi winter after noon, and the whole atmosphere was something I’m craving for again, as I’m writing this post. Take a look at some of our pics below:
Diwali is just around the corner, and shopping is at it’s peak at the moment. I’m busy shopping for Diwali and my upcoming birthday too. But gone are the days of giving the usual boring gifts like bedcovers, flower vases, etc. In today’s fast paced life, the one thing we use all the time is our mobile phone. I’m virtually inseparable from my phone through the day. And what better gift to give these days than a mobile phone- be it gifting one to yourself or to a loved one!
And that is why I thought I’ll quickly share this amazing offer by Asus with you guys- when you buy Asus phones via Flipkart, you can win some really cool prizes like Flipkart gift vouchers worth Rs. 1000 every hour and 1 gold voucher worth Rs. 25000 every day!
So I’m back from a tiny but amazing summer holiday, and how! I had gone down to Ranthambore National Park for a two day trip, and while a lot of you may say- “whoa, Rajasthan in the peak of summers”, I’d say from experience that the peak of summers are the best days to go out for jungle safaris, because these are the days when the tigers & leopards come out of the hiding, go near water bodies to fluid up, and give us maximum chances to spot them! And this time around, at the peak of summers, we were super lucky to have spotted a tiger & a leopard at Ranthambore. So the trip was totally worth it!
Beautiful, flawless skin is every girl’s primary desire in life. Not ‘needing’ to wear a full foundation routine every single day will make our lives a little less stressful, is what I feel. I mean, I love me some makeup everyday, but there are days when you are in too much of a rush to wear makeup. But then what do you do with the blemishes? Sigh!
I recently came across this range of products- Nutrova Advanced Nutraceuticals for ‘healthy skin’ and when I was offered a review op by the brand, I jumped right in! Read on to know my experience with the product!
Price: Rs. 2750 for 30 sachets (1 months’ supply- total 360g). Availability: On nutrova.com
Well, guess what! I dropped my phone down a few days back, and it’s screen got totally shattered! Then before I could upgrade to a new phone (eventually I did, yayy!), I had to live with a broken handset for two whole days. And a shattered screen meant that I practically had no phone for two days. Two whole days without a phone. Dayumm!
Today I am going to talk about a topic which is very close to my heart- women in leadership. Being an entrepreneur myself, I understand the plus-es and minus-es of the role from very up close, even though I’ve been on this track for just a little over a year yet. But coming from a business-oriented family where everyone is working, I’ve grown up in this environment where I consider myself equipped with some experiences which not everyone may have. Read on to know why I think women make for better leaders 🙂
The latest buzz on Twitter is that Katrina Kaif, a prominent Bollywood A-lister has gone missing. A lot of people are tweeting with #KatrinaMissing, and here’s what I think could have happened. Just guessing 😛
